Good deal. I got it on steam, though, for 2. Gog.com is still awesome though, don't get me wrong.

@anoffday
Steam may be tolerable DRM but GOG is zero DRM. Sign me up! I was just thinking how it would be really convenient to have Freespace 2 from GOG...then I could mess around with it on either my PC, or mess around with it in VMware or WINE on my mac.

@sigma8 Don't forget that the majority of games from GoG come with soundtracks, wallpapers, arts, manuals, reference cards and other nice little additions on top of the no-DRM game.

I love GoG! :D

Seriously debating on getting Arcanum, The Longest Journey and Psychonauts. I've played them all, but don't own them anymore. I'm not sure I ever owned Arcanum, think I played my roommates copy back when it was new.

I have Steam but viewing this article reminded me to play The Longest Journey and it's sequel again.

Bought 6 of the games yesterday. I'll wait a while before downloading the bigger ones because the GOG.com downloader isn't compatible with the new site (yet) and people are getting timeouts with the http downloads.

Damn it. I bought Arcanum, The Longest Journey and Syberia thinking I had my fill (already own Pyschonauts on PC and Xbox, shh!) and now I see a few of you posting Myst. I owned it before, but my PC at the time could not handle is so I never played it. Now I feel the peer pressure. :(

You know, I literally JUST picked up Psychonauts at the regular price from them earlier this week.

Why does this always happen to me?

@ouenwoof Oh, man, I know the feeling. It's not like it's really a big deal, it's just a few bucks, but it's frustrating all the same.

At least with GoG, you don't miss out completely on bundle deals when you already own some of the games, like you can with Steam.

Just last night i picked up Psychonauts, Myst, and Duke Nukem. Earlier this week I picked up Bulders Gate and Planescape: Torment.

My god GoG is punching me in my wallet.

How good is Arcanum? It looks like Diablo and that's one of my favorite series, so would anyone recommend it?

@Xiegfried Arcanum is great, but it doesn't play like Diablo at all. It's a lot more akin to Fallout 1 and 2 if you know how those were. It's an extremely deep RPG, open world where your stats and your actions determine a lot about what happens. It has some of the best atmosphere and one of the best-written stories in video games, but it's apparently not for everyone as well.

I think I'll give it a try anyway. For three bucks, why not?

Arcanum is pretty good but it's broken as hell without the Unofficial Arcanum Patch. Arcanum High Resolution Patch is also highly recommended. Oh, and firearms suck in Arcanum so you should probably create a melee or magick character for your first game.
