probably that is teh reason NASCAR gave a license to Polyphony Digital to add Nascar to GT5, to see if they deliver something better. Nobody has seen public footage of NASCAR on GT5 with the exception of the trailers, but I hope it is better than previous NASCAR games

I don't expect it to be better, though I'd like it to be, how embarrasing would it be however if it was :/ A game based on all things racing and nothing specific does nascar and rally better then games that specify in rally and nascar.
All GT5 would need then is F1 :/

I think Biffle is dead after that crash. Seriously if the game and physics looks like this then great, but who knows what the in game graphics looks like.

Exactly what I was thinking, I think the only reason I would care about a nascar specific game is to play online and deliberatly try to see how much chaos I could cause in a crash and annoy people :D If its not much, I'd probably get bored after a few of the same old same old ¬_¬

Speedway races were the most boring thing about Forza 3. I don't know what you could do to make driving in circles fun.

@ThePope How about trying to weave through tightly packed clumps of 10-or-so cars each with only inches to spare between you and the drivers ahead of, next to, and behind you? Oh yeah, and there are about 30-40 other cars on the track at once excluding you...
Oval racing can actually be extremely fun and intense if it is represented properly (i.e. the old Papyrus NASCAR Racing series, the NASCAR Heat series, or the Dirt Track Racing series...). It only is extremely boring if it's represented poorly (i.e. Forza, Gran Turismo excluding GT5, EA's own NASCAR games since the 2005 edition...).
Hopefully this will end up being in the same camp as Papyrus's old games, as Eutechnyx is not a company I would expect to make a bad racing game if the excellent Ferrari Challenge is their usual forte. If not... well since crap-NASCAR games have been churned out at a steady rate since 2006 I won't be too shocked.
