You should do like Yahtzee Croshaw did for Duke Nukem Forever and go ahead and write up a review for this game. See how close you can pin the tail to this ass of a game.

Ok, these new screen shots are giving me a little bit of hope.

Judging from some of them it looks like Sega might be trying to make Capt'Merica: Arkham Asylum.

Maybe it won't suck.......much.

Reason being is SEGA is willing to turn out pure crap in a limited amount of time for some money.
I forget who said it but they commented on this when asked about Movie games not being as huge of a success like their movie counterparts and he went on to say that if they didnt rush development and allowed the game makers to create a good game it would be different. The solution he stated and I agree with is hold off the game based movie till its released to the public via DVD/Blue Ray.

So what Cap fan out there would like to explain to me how he uses his shield to help scale walls? Or is this something they just came up with for the game?

@jrr

Indeed, we want realism in our comic-book games.

*Watches Cap throw his shield in a horizontal trajectory then return in the same path like a boomerang*

He can dig his shield into the wall surface and use it as a ledge/step to get higher? I dunno. I can tell you what I DO know though...

This game will suck.

I was actually asking out of genuine curiosity. But if his shield is supposed to be sharp around the edges enough to dig into things, I guess that'd be the mechanic behind it.

@jrr -His shield is made of a Vibranium/steel or iron hybrid. Its the most durable metal in Marvel more so then Wolverine's adamantium. And since its got a shard edge, its metallic nature, and Cap's own strength he can easily shove it into walls. Technically he can slice people to pieces with it but then only adults can buy his comics and mass bloodshed isn't what his character is about.

Iron Man had a lot of heart. It was a fun game, though it had it's problems. Iron Man 2, on the other hand, was a terrible terrible game that should have not been made. It was awful, therefore, I'm also not falling for your tricks, Sega.

Sega unfortunately got the rights to all the marvel movie tie ins (Thor, Cap, Hulk & Iron Man- luckily they stopped before Avengers) back when they did Iron Man, no one knew then how poorly developed/put together those games would be. And its especially unfortunate too, since a Cap game could be a huge blast in the right hands, like perhaps RavenSoft makers of the fun movie tie in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, or well... anyone else.

Sega did make good marvel games back in the day on the genesis

I remember getting Spider-man on the Genesis and playing that game for the longest time. Nothing beats that game's story! Kingpin, the guy who makes money selling drugs and mafia stuff, is going to blow up New York to kill Spider-man and lose all his profit!

He probably couldn't take anymore fat jokes and kingpin always going IT'S MUSCLE! and spidey going, sureee tubby!

@KiraXD Hydra is a far cry from renaming the bad guys "opposing force". Hydra has existed pretty much as long as Captain America has, and are an extremely well established force of villainy throughout the Marvel universe, they spread into just about every comic there is.
