Medal of Honor Monday Night Football ad is [redacted]

Yesterday's Monday Night Football festivities were sponsored by a comparatively solemn advertisement for EA's Medal of Honor -- one that compiles all the testimonies from the game's anonymous military advisers into a single ad. Check it out after the break, provided you have codeword clearance.

I actually plan on getting this maybe around Christmas. I'm sure it'll be on sale and most of the major bugs will be out by then. I'm really looking forward to the campaign.

@xFenixKnightx Uhh I'm sure most of the patches if there are few will be tweaks to gameplay due to community reaction. This is DICE for the multiplayer, there hasn't been many patches for BFBC2. I'd be more concerned with patches for the game that's coming out related to your avatar. :)

Well the Beta still has DICE's patented Crash to the Desktop feature. I figure Patch release #2 will fix that too.

the SP, which is the only part I really care about, shouldn't require patches.

You're right. They should just leave it broken and unbalanced like MW2.

@Faenix Basically it rewards you for buying EA shooters and stuff. Like if you've played BFBC2 and have setup your EA account correctly linked with your PSN/XBL then you get the M24 on day one in MoH.

So when are people going to have hyper-realistic shooter fatigue? I love shooters, don't get me wrong. I know there are subtle differences between COD, MoH, and battlefield, but it seems like there have been many versions that came out this year and sold TONS.

I want to like this game, but the feedback from beta users have been dissapointing. Nonetheless, I shall atleast rent it.

This is really interesting.........I mean they say how authentic the Ops are set to be, etc, etc......... but take Taliban out because that's too real!!!! Really??? So now "Opposing Forces" makes everybody feel better??? Does it really??? If that's the case, why don't we change the Taliban's name to something else, it would make me feel so much better when watching the news. I choose "Ass Clowns", because I would like to here Brian Williams say just once, "The US Forces ran into strong opposition today around Khandahar from the Ass Clowns"!!!!!!

The military had problems with the enemy being identified as the taliban, i would think that if the people who deal with these situations day to day have a problem with what you are doing because it makes the families of fallen soldiers uncomfortable, you change that design decision out of respect. TL;DR: don't be an ass hat

@RobT they are clearly not doing it out of respect, but fear that people will be even a little bit offended and lose sales.

@RobT In all fairness I'm not trying to be an ass hat. I understand people lost people in the war, but it's not like we changed the Viet Cong's or Nazi's name to something generic, and people lost lots of family members in those conflicts as well, me included. My point is changing the name doesn't ease anyone's pain, the art assets are the same. Call them whatever you want, just like in MW2, and they are still designated "the bad guys", oh and they are still opposing the "good guy' military forces, which are US Soldiers in the game. That's all I'm saying.

This has me pumped, I've kinda lost interest in CoD after MW2, this looks like it will be a nice replacement. The multiplayer alone is enough for me to get this

The sp looks like it's going to be fun. The mp I played in the first beta was a lot of fun. I want it. And some fish.

Single player rental for me. I had high hopes to be rescued from the broken MW2 but after playing MoH's terrible BETA and being bored stiff by BF:BD2's MP I'll stick to campaign rental for this one unless proven wrong by fixes Dice claims to have done which can't mean much as BF:BC2's MP is claimed by an odd many to be great to which I disagree.
