I still don't see the point in discounting it now. Chances are those who are huge COD fans already have the DLC, and those that thought it was over priced probably aren't going to buy it with Black Ops coming out in roughly a month's time. Plus it should have been this price to begin with.

@Tapejara

I thought the DLC was massively overpriced, but I'm pretty lukewarm on Black Ops. There's a pretty decent chance I'll grab it, since 10 maps for $15 is more or less reasonable. I have a hard time imagining that EVERYONE will abandon MW2 as soon as Black Ops comes out. Heck, I can still find really full games of CoD4, and there've been two CoD games since it.

It's really about time they dropped the price of MW2 itself, though.

Gee Activision, you might have better luck making the game half-price rather than the DLC. $90 USD in the Australian store is a load of bollocks.

@ClarkyAC Yeah, it's mentioned in the PSN news article, yet the 360 and PC both got their own separate titled articles on the subject, and the PC one (which came almost 2 hours after the PSN update note) refers to the 360 article specifically.

Lots of people play MW2 on PS3 and love it. It shouldn't be treated like the bastard child playing with the broken toys.

This game will pretty much die when the next one comes out.

@Perfidious Sinn you are aware that CoD games hold 3 of the top 6 XBL games right?

I'm surprised they didn't bundle it all in one & then make it half off so it would still be 15 bucks

With those prices it's better you to buy Left 4 Dead Bundle...

Notice how they still refuse to offer any sort of reasonable discount on the actual game.

Corporate greed at its finest. First DLC should have been discounted once the second one came out, but that would have made too much sense and too little money for them.

Here's to hoping the DLC for black ops has more value instead of a handful of rehashed maps for $15.

Better late than never Activision. I finally picked them up for PS3 (btw where is the PSN artcile 'stiq?). Between them and the L4D bundle on steam I am set. If only I could convince someone to buy my L4D 2 360 copy for $25 then I'll be really happy.
