How had we never put this together before? MTV's sorrowfully popular reality show Jersey Shore shares common elements with every RPG ever: Dudes with outrageously spiky hair, puzzlingly proportioned women, so much fighting, near-incomprehensible dialogue ... the list of similarities goes on and on.
CollegeHumor was the first to recognize these similarities, doing all of us the favor of showing us exactly what a Jersey Shore RPG would look like. Check it out in the faux-gameplay video below.

Except that Jersey Shore is the worst piece of media (it's generous to refer to it as such) to ever be publicly broadcast, while RPGs are fun and we love them.

No, he's right. Jersey Shore is a terrible show, and is helping propagate the "Guido Mentality" which is a sin in itself.

Wow, I'm impressed. I didn't think anyone dumb enough to enjoy Jersey Shore to the point of defending it would be smart enough to be able to use the internet. Well done!

I'd probably laugh if I've ever seen a single episode of the show.

Context clues. I know enough about the show from the internet that I don't need to have ever seen an episode.
I didn't know anybody died though...

As a dirty foreigner, I know not of this "Jersey Shore", however upon looking it up on Wikipedia, I found two things out 1) I never want to watch this show, 2) Japan takes it to the next level.
The show's called "Jersey Shore: The New Jersey Life of Macaroni Rascals" over there. Cunning, I would have watched a show with such a ridiculous title out of blind curiosity. Well played Japanese television. Well played.

@PR0F3TA I hate reality TV but dammit I love watching those kids' antics, they make me laugh every time. Anyone who wants to criticize me for loving Jersey Shore can kiss my white untanned ass.

That was hilarious, people take this show way to seriously, as if lucifer himself is the creator and director.
this show makes grown men act like 40 y.o. mothers with kids.... "its what's wrong with the moral fabric of america, society and it makes us dumber"... so don't watch it, or get over it.

I dug the Final Fantasy battle music/victory music reference. I think a sports car like BMW could use Chocobo's music.
Plus, Vodka + Pickles = Phoenix Down
I would play this game if it were real.

I'm not going to get all preachy about it but I do think most of you underestimate the entetainment value in the show. I mean come on, it's stupid people doing stupid things. That puts it at least in guilty pleasure territory
