Isn't gaijin supposed to be some racist Japanese word for white people?

Yeah but only white people are nerdy enough to want to go to Japan.

Yeah. They're making my favorite games right now, but I have no idea why they would call themselves that. It makes them look daft.

Yes gaijin is derogatory. It is ok when only white people use it though. Just how the n word is only ok for some groups of people to use casually.

@C1
So it's OK for a black guy to make a company called "N***** Games"?

I wouldn't be offended by it but of course some people would. The term gaijin isn't very well known except for those who are into Japanese stuff

I hope Gaijin Games releases some sort of Bit Trip collection on disc. I only recently started becoming interested in game but I would much rather just buy it on disc then Nintendo's screwed up WiiWare service.

Loved Bit.Trip Runner. Looking forward to this.

Someday I will get super human reflexes to get past 3-8 of Bit Trip Runner.

@FriedConsole

Which one was that again? The Gauntlet, where you start off jump/sliding the mile long worm of beats?

That's the one where I put down the game in frustration and told myself I'll never beat it. Then picked it back up a week later and somehow managed to conquer it. Something makes me think the game is deliberately designed in a way that will break you down and think all hope is lost, and you must persevere to finish, just like in a movie.

@MLS Yeah I quit several times only to make progress later. It does well by just automatically starting you over so you don't have time to think you should be frustrated. I have spent hours playing the same level over and over to get it right. Favorite WiiWare game by far.
