Your Shape: Fitness Evolved introduces 'Your Shape Center' portal

One of the ways Your Shape: Fitness Evolved plans on keeping players motivated and encouraging interactivity is with the Your Shape Center, an online portal that not only provides feedback on your own progress but allows players to motivate each other through custom challenges. An example given was setting a certain number of calories users would need to burn over a predetermined amount of time. Then through the online portal, you could see which of your friends completed or failed the custom challenge in question.

Yes, all of my friends can see just how much I suck at exercising. Just kidding. This does actually look cool.

If I was into cardio, I'd hit this up.
They need to get this on some daytime shows for women, this is probably the best fitness game I've seen so far.
Unfortunately their target market is so far out of reach they'll have to work hard to get them.

Combat evolved, War evolved, Fitness evolved...ughhh!
Has the word "evolved" become the "extreme" of this generation.
Don't people know how to use a thesaurus anymore?

My girlfriend's interested in getting a fitness game (and I guess when I need to shave some pounds off it'd beat actual workouts)
But this or EA Sports Active 2, that is the question.

@Crayola Q Pants ESQ there are a ton of fitness games coming for Kinect. wait for some reviews. EA Sports Active 2 is expensive. And the only thing that can justify the expense is the heart monitor which you can buy anywhere online for cheap.
there's also the biggest loser, get fit with mel b, etc.
I like the dancing games (Dance Central, Zumba, and even the new Dance Paradise).

Hmmm, no idea what the final result will be but if you can't access the majority of this stuff in-game and HAVE to be online, that will suck a slight portion of balls.

This game is the reason why we are buying a Kinect. My wife saw the E3 footage of this "game" and instantly said "We gotta get that!" I just hope some good games come out for it that I will enjoy.
