Apt. 117, a new animated series for Halo Waypoint, tries to alienate Halo fans

We're no Bussinessologists or whatever, but we're pretty sure the best way to keep your fans coming back for more is to portray them as hideous, ill-mannered freaks who bathe with their Xbox 360 headset on. It just makes sense, right? It's the only way we can explain Apt. 117, a real thing that's apparently coming to Halo Waypoint "soon."

I think it's a little early to make a series based on my life as a Halo-obsessed idiot.

Awesome. I loved Clerks the animated series (all seven episodes). I hope Charles Barkley shows up in this too. "Who's driving? Oh my god bear is driving! How can that be?" Anybody? No?

If Bungie was responsible for this, then this is basically them telling Microsoft "haha, good luck dealing with our insane fanbase of this series".

"Could an idiot build a Needler out of a nail gun!" ROFL this should be great, the clerks animated series was too short but awesome!

@Guts You should watch it if you get the chance. It was pretty good for what it was.
I'm pretty sure Mission Hill was done by some other animation studio though.

pfff, sure it might be fun and all but out of all the possible stuff they could make they come up with this? :/
How about an animated series that shows us Cortana's birth? a history of the insurrection, the first steps of mankind colonizing space, the forerunner building the rings, their war with the flood, ... anything really :p
I'll definatly watch it though ^^

lol good luck alienating a halo fan .... if its halo related it could break into their house and set their dog on fire and they would love it with unwavering devotion.

That looks great. If Halo fans get pissed off by this cartoon they need to lighten up. Everyone needs to be able to laugh at themselves.

Doesn't look too bad. I'll wait for a few episodes to be released before passing my mighty judgement

I'll probably watch it when I check out my progress on waypoint, could end up being funny.

Uh oh, this is the first halo production in the post-bungie era... Don't let it be a sign of things to come.
It does look funny, I don't deny that, but I don't know if it's something that needs to be official through waypoint and 343 industries.

Hideous ill-mannered freaks? Sounds like your typical 13 year old on XBL.

That looks horrible. So many amazing stories and stuff they could be exploring in the Halo universe, and this is what they waste their time and money on? I am a Halo fan, but I don't think I will be watching this. Not because I think it is offensive or making fun of Halo fans, but just because it looks freaking stupid.

Hmm, I haven't seen much come out of 434i, and I'm horribly skeptical about their game making abilities, but this looks interesting.

That announcer was horrible. It sounded like someone trying to make an amateur Youtube vlog or something. So bad, in fact, that I was expecting the clip of the show to suck major ass. Not so. Looks kind of interesting actually, but they should definitely get a new announcer.

I would likewise cancel that show. You know what that looks like to me? Like they took generic video game webcomic #24601 and made it into an animated series.

@Guts definitely watch them, I don't know when I've laughed harder than the 1st time i saw a few of the episodes
