Man, i really want to try this game. It looks Little Big Planet but with yarn

So jacked about this game, especially after reading the latest round of previews. So jacked, in fact, that this is the first game I've pre-ordered since the original Metroid Prime back in 2002. Kirby's lookin' steezy as hell and there can never, ever be enough 2-D coop platformers

I just realized how effing awesome a cosplaying Yarn Kirby would be. Please someone do that for PAX Prime next year...

I think Prince Fluff is an awesome enough character to actually join in with the other major Kirby characters, like King Dedede and Meta Knight.

I hope to see him in future Kirby games.

Not surprised it's from the guy who did Wario land shake it as that's the best game on wii. Epic Yarn just turned into a day 1 for me.

Prince Fluff is so adorable, and dare I say it, even more so than Kirby.

This raises some interesting questions for me...

Nintendo had quietly delayed/canceled its original Kirby game that it had teased at previous E3 for the Gamecube. Nintendo went so far as to release screenshots even, mostly consisting of generic 3D models of Kirby and pals. The game was supposedly to the Wii at its conception, and never heard from again.

Conventional wisdom says the game was canceled, or at least on the backburner for when Nintendo needed another flagship 1st party title to throw out there. Yet if Epic Yarn was converted from a completely different title as early as one year ago, then whatever happened to that old kirby game? Did any of that make it into this, or any hand held title? Or is this just a palette swap ala Star Fox Adventures/Dinosaur Planet?
