PopCap offering free Bejeweled 2 today for birthday celebration
18
If it wasn't fairly evident before than PopCap has a very personal vendetta against your work ethic, it should be now -- in celebration of the 10th birthday of the developer's flagship, gem-swapping casual series, its offering a free download of Bejeweled 2 for PC and Mac.
The deal only lasts until 10 p.m. PST tonight, so don't hesitate -- unless, of course, you're too busy playing Plants vs. Zombies, Peggle, Zuma or Bookworm Adventures to read this very article. If that's the case, then we can say that your entire family smells bad, and there's nothing you can do about it. Booyah.
[Thanks, Justin!]

Awesome. I've just been getting into a ton of PopCap games I'd ignored in the past, so it's good timing. I was probably gonna go buy this for $5 at Wal-Mart soon.

I made the mistake of playing the cyber-crack that is Plants vs. Zombies and Peggle so there's no way I'm getting hooked into... DOWNLOAD COMPLETE.

@The Joy of Painting w Bob Ross. Hahahaha! ^ I want more Peggle Extreme and W.o.W Peggle! I wish they would release them for 360, iphone, or mac as an expansion pack. Would be nice to see ten new Peggle maps themed around Plants vs. Zombies too!

This is where it pays to be on the PopCap mailing list. I found out about this before everyone and their brothers did, thus clogging the ordering website.

The site was pretty slow, but I finally got it to go through. Can't say no to a free game.
