It would be perfect if they changed the blue light to white. It just seems like a clash of colors with the blue on the red like that.

The blue is the light inside ... you don't see it much except when the system is on. Not a big deal anyway.

What is with the recent regional announcement order change up? First its Japan, now Europe then NA. Its kind of annoying having to wait to get confirmation. Can't you just make it all one big announcement? or 2, confirming it for both continents?

Nintendo know that annoucing the 3DS will slow down sales of the Wii and DS to the "Core" gamers that read gaming blogs, so they are releasing these limited edition consoles to tempt in the nostalgic gamers who would otherwise wait for the 3DS.

I'm a nostalgic gamer that has Super Mario Brothers on every single electronic device that can emulate an NES or SNES. Nintendo still ain't gonna get me to break the piggy bank I got going for the 3DS.

Well im sure Nintendo Of America will have something for us, in some shape or form. If anything, i see them pushing this as a Club Nintendo promotion or maybe have Super Mario All-Stars at least downloadable. But we'll see.

Nintendo of America did release a poster, just in there latest Nintendo Power i thought was pretty cool.

Also honestly a good way to celebrate the series is what they should honestly do instead of porting Super Mario Allstars but make a 8-bit Super Mario Bros for their sequal of New Super Mario Bros 2 for the wii.

I can't afford the systems, but they are super cool, and if they (and the mario collection) don't come to the US, I will be mad at Nintendo for the first time in a very long time.

@therandomizer Regional Discrimination? Nope. They're just paying us back for the crimes committed against us in gaming past.

For example, SSBB came out half a year late from Japan here in June, and three months after the US. In return, we got MKWii a day after Japan, with you lot having to wait another month.
