Amazon Lightning Deals marking down Call of Duty games all day

If there are a few installments in the ever-lucrative Call of Duty franchise that you, unlike every other human being alive on planet Earth, failed to purchase at launch, today's a good day to play catch up. Amazon's Lightning Deals are currently marking down prices on a bunch of installments on the shooter series, while the Deal of the Day is a discount on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, currently available for $36.99 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Sadly, I don't think anyone wants to touch Modern Warfare 2, even with a 10ft stick. The game is just hated now.

I'd hardly call it hated considering the hundreds of thousands that play it daily.

@TraceurRyuk Prepping for LBP2 As unbelievable as a story MW2 I love it for what it is, an action packed roller coaster ride. Sure I don't play online very much because of all the moronic noob tubers, but I hardly think the game is hated.

It's still not worth it for $37. The single player game is crap (and such short crap!)

It's certainly worth $37 for multiplayer, but if you cared you'd already be doing that, right?

I didn't really like it... too arcady and of course the single player isn't the best, but my friends love, love, love it

COD 4 is still the best in my opinion, but excited about Black Ops

Anyone else feel like this is Black Ops preorder deal or am I forgetting a Call of Duty game that has authentic advanced weaponry and hot spots across the world?

@Usr666 I don't think so. MW2 is the Deal of the day. CoD4 for PS3 and 360 has already passed.... it has to be Black Ops.

Sorry, playing BF2 and Halo:Reach too much to bother.

Kind of funny that Amazon is selling Call of Duty games on their gold box deals the day after EA's Medal of Honor released...
