Really looking forward to this game. I played the first game without knowledge to the naruto universe, but I really enjoyed it. So this will be great.

You serious? It's about as cool to like Naruto at the age of, what, 30? as it is here to like Spider-Man. Not instant-outcast material, but hardly mainstream. The belief that anime is considered not-at-all-geeky, mainstream entertainment for adults in Japan is one of the persisting myths of the otaku community that never ceases to amuse me.

As much as i liked Ultimate Ninja Storm 1 and how nice UNS2 looks, i just cant get behind the source material.

yeah this is just reference material, doesn't count as a fan collection. If it was, I'd say that person has problems. It's a childrens show with children as the main character with every anime cliche you can think of.

Who's the bigger fan: the person who purchases every issue (thereby supporting the mangaka (though I have no idea whether they accumulated these materials themselves or whether they were given by jump for reference use (my bet is on the latter))) or the person who viewed them online for free?

The world´s biggest fan of something usually have crappy useless junk about the stuff he´s devoting to, not only the basic thing that everyone does (I mean, a fan of a game/manga/anime/book does read the books or watches the series, right?)
I hope that I´m not missing something... but at the same time there are a lot of people that I know or heard of, that devote to the Bible and never read it.... or like to quote books that they never read, maybe it´s the same case...?

It like the first one but improved a lot or like in the second naruto ultimate ninja game that is based on the shippuden series in my opinion to me that was the best story mode and another thing what's up with the only one playable pain character u read the manga u watched the series but yet u can't make all playable pains and I haven't played the game yet but if he modify certain parts in the story like he did in the other one ima be disappointed cuz a true fan would keep the story 100 percent real
