They're giving away the first episode free... either this is a knock at the quality of the game, which I refuse to believe, this IS Telltale we're talking about... or it's a genius marketing strategy.

@Gibbeynator

They've given first episodes for free before (Talk Like A Pirate Day), plus the Sam & Max season 3 was "free" for Playstation Plus subscribers.

I can't believe that TellTale is going to miss another opportunity to have a PS3 game demo either on the bluray, or via a bundled PSN code. First the missed opportunity of the Wallace & Gromit bluray, now this.

I would really like to know what their business people are thinking, especially given the crazily huge marketing push the BTTF bluray set is getting. Hopefully this article is just missing that information, and my irritation is for naught.

Who needs (and has?) a DeLorean???
The good ol' Cartman style is enough for me: Simply freezing myself until the first episode comes out. Works always fine.

...well, except the one time when Cartman tried it out...

@serge808

There's that word "heavy" again. Why are things so heavy in the past? Is there a problem with the earth's gravitational pull?

1.21 GIGAWATTS!? Heavy.

But really, dad...dad...daddio, only with the trilogy? I already own it on DVD, and I'm pretty sure 1 copy of Back to the Future 2 or 3 is 1 copy too many.

@Chareth Cutestory

Just make sure the copies don't see each other or it can totally mess up the space-time continuum and possibly destroy all life as we know it!

@Chareth Cutestory If you are a big BttF fan, you will want to buy it agian. The original run of BttF Trilogy back in 2002 had a bunch of production issues (incorrectly framed shots in original release, bad contrast in the 2nd). Universal had an unpublicized recall, so people out of the know (like me) got stuck with the screwed up versions.

This release will (supposedly) have all those problems fixed. Not to mention this release is digitally remastered and has extra bonus content not in the older DVD releases (only for Blu-Ray release).

So the redemption code isn't exclusive to the Trilogy pack? Randy doesn't make it clear. Goes from talking about one thing (redemption code) straight to another (the launch date).
