Mad Catz creating FightSticks and FightPads for WWE All Stars

Mad Catz has created FightPad and FightStick accessories for fighting games like Street Fighter IV and Marvel vs. Capcom 2. It has now announced a partnership with THQ to produce ... WWE-branded FightSticks and FightPads, for the upcoming WWE All Stars game. All Stars is supposed to be more arcade-like and feature "combination sequences" (according to its original announcement), so ... no, this just isn't going to make sense no matter how hard we try.

Mad Catz intends to produce the accessories for PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii, which means that if you missed out on the Tatsunoko vs. Capcom FightStick, you'll have another chance to get a Wii arcade stick, albeit one with pictures of wrasslers all over it. Mad Catz has declined to offer images or specific details for the devices, so we're just going to have to dream for now.

I'll wait until they release a demo for this. I was very unhappy the way Legends Of Wrestlemania turned out when they changed the controls & play style

How can John Cena go up against THE PEOPLE'S CHAMP? What happened to wrestling? Remember the good ol days? Mankind vs Undertaker hell in a cell match? The Rock vs Stone Cold. Ahh the good times.

@The MARIO pretty much like i said. Attitude Era was where it was at. you had real characters not jsut casual looking people using "real" names. you had costumes, characters, and comic storylines. now its just to casual and boring. im so glad i grew up in the 80s 90's WWF era's

Wrestling is more mainstream now. Although I do like the storylines for the most part & the presentation & lead up to the PPV main events are always cool

The wrestlers in this screenshot are twice the size of Sega's Incredible Hulk. Nice going for realism THQ.

@Speedracer98 Maybe they just have incredibly tiny heads...? And ridiculously giant hands? These proportions are clearly not right.

The more I see of this game, the less I'm thrilled. They just look ugly, sorry.

The look of the wrestlers is so... grotesque. Like, Grappler Baki grotesque.

I can't wait for this game.

SDvRaw doesn't seem arcadey enough for me. There are gameplay videos of WWE All-Stars and they take me back to playing wrestling games in the arcade. It's like a NBA Jam version of wrestling. The moves are completely over the top and fun with special effects and 10 ft. verticals. Just awesome.
