Now you can own a giant Halo: Reach statue for some reason
36
Whether you need it for home security reasons, or whether you're just a collector of man-sized gaming memorabilia, a super limited edition Halo: Reach statue, modeled after Noble Team's Captain Carter, can be yours if you've got the wherewithal to win this pricey eBay auction.
No, but seriously, it's awfully expensive -- shipping alone is close to $600 -- but seeing as how only 18 of these things got made, it's certain to be the ultimate symbol of one's Halo fandom. Check out how these eight-foot figurines were made in the video posted below.

Only once He reaches His goal of 1,000,000 GS shall the Nerds of the Land of Geekdom forge a mighty golden statue of the deity known as Stallion83. Then the people shall bask in His fettered, unwashed glory for all eternity, marveling at the meticulous detail of the statues lifelike representation complete with Cheese Puff powder mouth, many crushed cans of the God fuel Rockstar, and stains of yellow under His mighty pitts.

Well, the statue would take up her spot beside me on the bed, so it's a given.

There's a life-sized statue of Master Chief from Halo 2 in the game room at my work. It really just gets in the way.
Anyone care to guess where I work? No prizes.

You are quite humorous. This game was fun, and it might make for a good Kinect game.

I used to live in Seattle and I knew a handful of people that worked at the Microsoft HQ in Redmond. Despite all the bad things that people often say about Microsoft, it seems to me from what I've heard that they at least take care of their employees. This is my biggest reason for respecting Microsoft, even if they have shut down Ensemble for no apparent reason, they do employ a lot of people and treat them (for the most part) admirably.

I'm not sure I'd want to play a Kinect game where the concept of test modeling dildos on armored space marines enters into the picture. Now I can't stop wondering if they'd have to do a software update that could use the "depth" aspect of the camera to measure length and girth. Gee, thanks.

I'd LOVE to work for corp in any regard (aka "blue badges" in local lingo). Too bad you practically need a degree to hold ANY job! As I don't have a degree yet, I'm relegated to vendor status (aka, orange badge, or my favorite, "v-dash trash").

I like the designs of the spartan armors but I'm not a fan of the game, so this is a little ridiculous in my opinion.

@Jahnke511
I think he means spliting up the statues (so someone buying Carter, someone else buying Jun, someone else buying Jorge, instead of one person buying them all)
