Two more Level-5 games moving to 3DS

Level-5 showed strong support for the 3DS platform at its Level-5 Vision event. In addition to revealing Professor Layton vs. Gyakuten Saiban, showing off Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle, and announcing Time Travelers' migration to the 3D handheld, the developer also showcased two other 3DS games, both recently moved to 3DS from other platforms.

Fantasy Life, Brownie Brown's game about performing various jobs in an RPG-style town verging on apocalypse, was first announced for DS last year, but will now be released on 3DS, with a new polygonal art style, in 2011. It features contributions from Final Fantasy vets Yoshitaka Amano (doing illustrations) and Nobuo Uematsu (composing).

Level-5 also announced a 3DS version of Kyaba Joppi, a hostess simulator originally for the mobile game service ROID. Andriasang has screens of this adorable game -- which, we expect, won't leave Japan. It features guest customers like Lupin III.

You do know that they often add anti-aliasing to screenshots after they're rendered in order to make them look better than they really are. It's called "bullshots."

I missed it too. Since the first sentence of the article wasn't "OMG LUPIN III!" I sort of assumed it wouldn't be mentioned at all.

The Layton/AA crossover has single-handedly made me give a crap about the 3DS. Forget ports and remakes, it's this kind of stuff that'll make me shell out $300.

Lupin III is like James Bond only better in every conceivable way possible.

Actually, the Harvest Moon series has been trying to change.
It started with Rune Factory on the DS and Innocent Life for the PSP.
(Rune Factory being Fantasy, and Innocent Life being.. SciFi? No, it's just in space)

Rune Factory was a good change, while many say that Innocent Life was not. Seeing that Rune Factory got sequels, you can see where people are going with it.
(oh, and let's not forget... before those two, there was A Wonderful Life for the Gamecube. Harvest Moon changed its formula a bit in that game, and a ton of HM fans hated it.... if you want HM to change, you're going to attack the fans, not the creators. ...I loved A Wonderful Life)
