was planning on getting Star Wars and Fable 3 next week from Amazon. Now I might cancel my preorders.

@ColeM

I considered canceling my Amazon, too, but I save more there even though B2G1 sounds like a great deal.

For me, going with Best Buy would cost me an average of $43.89 per game (2 x 59.99 plus tax, divided by 3). With Amazon's $20 credit on the games I want, I pay 39.99 per game, no tax, free release day shipping with Prime (Prime membership is free for me). So I save $3.90 per game x 3 games = $11.70 total savings going with Amazon. Not really a big deal, but still....

Might even want to check your local gamestop ON TUESDAY. They often stealthfully match BestBuy offers without making a big deal about it. If you have one of those new power up cards that ends up being a lot of points.

@ColeM - I was thinking more along the lines of Force Unleashed 2, Castlevania and Rock Band 3.

I scored Fable 2 thanks to the "glitch" on xbox.com where it was free. Didn't like Fable, I'm getting into Fable 2 (just got to Wraithmarsh), but playing it just doesn't seem like a sell for me on Fable 3. If they follow the same strategy down the road - release it on XBLM in chapters, with the first free - then I'll be more inclined to get it.

Or cheap. Cheap is always good.

I see that RB3 isn't in that box...does that exclude it from this deal?

Actually, I see in the fine print at the bottom of the full-sized page that it excludes RB3. That sucks. :(

Seriously? I don't know of any Walmarts that don't require a receipt. Stores don't accept such returns cuz they might be stolen goods, at least that's the reasoning behind their policies.

Wal-Marts used to be like that, but eventually wised up about. I didn't think any still had the no receipt policy.

The most certainly still have a no receipt policy. If they and stores like them didn't there wouldn't be a forum for CheapAssGamer. That is ALL THEY DO. Flipping games like they were burgers mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

@ArchiGamer Yeah you can get Vanquish and Enslaved at Kmart this week for $90, and you also get a $20 gaming coupon which you could use next week towards Castlevania if you wanted, bringing the grand total for those 3 games to $130. $10 more than B2G1 at Best Buy, but at least then you'd get the games you wanted.

Nice deal but sadly they only list two games that I would be interested in owning. Wonder if I could do like I did last year when they had this deal and get one game I don't care about and then later exchange it unopened for a different game.
