GoldenEye 007 dev diary introduces the new Bond's stuntman
10
Back in our day, the mo-cap process for GoldenEye 007 required a single shot of a dude chopping his hand in a 90 degree arc. Apparently, the remake requires a bit more work than that. Get to know the new Bond's stuntman in the developer's diary posted just below.

Anybody else think the concept of a 30 second commercial for every 2 minutes of actual video content is ridiculous? TV sales would stop FLAT if the rate of commercials was as high as that. Come on, Joystiq...

Because ignoring rain, actual lighting, actual round edges, smoke effects, textures that are more than just solid colors with the occasional gradient made to look like a bolt, actual facial details, and much much more, is that hard to overlook.
All that is just based on the 31 second clip just posted. If I can see such obvious differences in an extremely low quality low fps video comparison on youtube, imagine what you could see if you actually bothered to watch a good quality clip instead of trolling.

After recently playing a few rounds of Goldeneye N64, I can safely say the Wii version looks better than it by leaps and bounds, and will likely play better, too.

Saying it looks like an N64 game is totally trolling, you're right, the game looks a million times better than the original, and it should. If peoplr came in saying they wished it was multiplatform, I wouldn't fault them for that. But coming in to fart out a very much non-witty comment about bad graphics is just trollin for sure.
And I'm not even one of those people that usually plays on the Wii's defense.

Hmm, so does a comment disappear entirely if it gets downvoted enough? I always thought that half a heart was as low as you could go, and the mods would delete a particularly inflammatory comment every now and then.
I agree with you, Levi, by the way.
