@Arsenic13 Of course, I would never do such a heinous act of potential theft.. so I'll just hide it on my HDD where no one else can take it.. ahem..

Huh? Are they doing this to avoid having the game come out on two discs?

Dear stiq,

I provided the hot tips, straight from the deep fryer that is the internet at great personal loss and danger. No thanks? I see how it is. On a less related note excited for my free gun.

Dear Stiq,

I provided this hot tip, straight from the perilous deep fryer that is the internet and offered it you at a value meal price of free. For my egregious personal loss and the danger I faced no thanks. I see how it is. Also I am excited for my free gun.

Doesn't seem to be working for me. I log it but it doesn't show me as logged in on that content page.

When I click to download, it says "Error, you found a glitch in the system"

@Tonezorz Are you trying it through the site? Try it through your console. It's right there in Game Add-Ons.

It says that on the website, but when I went to download it from the marketplace, that's the number I got.

At 195MB for two weapons, either this is the worst compressed game ever, or you're going to have to download every area and enemy you encounter because they wouldn't fit on one disc.

Can you get DLC if you don't have xbox gold? I let mine expire - been playing almost all PC games... have to dust off the xbox for this one.

Yea you can get it, though I'm not sure if you have to wait 1 week first like for game demos.

". Neither will be immediately available; they're added to your "gift queue" and be unlocked as the game progresses."

I like it this way. In some others you buy DLC you get instant access to the gears or sub-plots, even when it makes no sense in-story. Those disrupt the game's pacing.

5he game is supposed to have a weapon system where the weapons change with your character. I would think the file size would have to pretty sizeable for two weapons that could change into several different versions.

@gundamtotoro at that rate though, 40 weapons would fill the DVD.

I'm more inclined to believe it's something embarrassing on there that they need to patch, and since it's a flagship Microsoft game, they didn't want a PS3-style 30 minute update as soon as you turn on the system, so they went this route. The free goodies are a way to tempt you into downloading an optional update. When does MS ever give anything away for free? (I kid, but it's rare.)

MS tends to allow themselves to do some pretty ridiculous stuff with their own IPs on Xbox Live/Marketplace that breaks all their own rules for publishing. Just look at Halo.
