@evilkoala

My only guess for such large DL is they all come with quests.
If not it's all filler to hide a dark secret like this stuff being on the disc or sonething.

Hey, to be fair, they're appealing to everyone, even the Furries.

Wait, wait, wait.... $2? For a dog costume? It better let me command a legion of vicious puppy-rebels, hardened by years of mistreatment in a fat ladies arm.

All the dlc items in fable 3 are 200mb really odd.

@ZoneoftheEnders

They download much less than that, the DLC finishes downloading a few seconds after it starts. It may be because the DLC files don't seem to be stored individually. When I looked in my HDD for Fable III there was something along the lines of Retailer Content and Day 1 DLC. So there were only 2 items, even though I had downloaded 4 items.

For $2? I might buy that. Nice little impulse buy with the tons of points I got from Bing bar.

The price was free last night, but gave an error code when you tried to download it.

I don't believe this, I downloaded it on accident, which isn't really a big deal, but now I can't join any of my friends games because it says our DLC is incompatible. Combined with this, preorder bonuses from different retailers, the bonuses from the book and the controller and whatever dlc comes next, how the shit am I supposed to play with my friends?

@Sordid State of Eclairs you are correct about that. The Justice League, Nightwing and Robin are definitely not things.

@R Planeteer I hope that works, but whenever i tried to join my friends games it said I couldn't join because the host had different DLC, and that would be just as true if I were hosting. Ah well, might as well try it though. Really hope they patch it or add compatibility dlc like Dead Rising 2 did

Was clicking through things 1/2 asleep when I got home from work and was first playing fable, and i accidently bought this. Was focused on the file size and not the price, and saw it was the same size as the free weapons and the "bonus game content" and just pressed A...

At least you cant complain that they made it hard to buy the DLC.

Consider me one of the people that ALSO got duped into buying this. Note to anyone else out there, make sure you check the prices. It's kind of deceiving that they would place this RIGHT NEXT to the free DLC in game. If I saved someone from wasting points on this junk then I have done my good deed of the day!

@GSpin I wouldn't really call that 'deceiving'. It shows all of the DLC. Some of that is free, some of it is paid. Any purchase on the 360 pops up a window telling you how may Microsoft Points you have and how many are required for the download so unless it was listed as free but charged you (which it wasn't when I looked at it yesterday in game), they didn't do anything deceiving.
