That's a shame. I was planning on slogging through the dull combat to see where the story goes, but it sounds like there's no point.

Thanks for the review because you saved me $60! The first game I have to say is the best Star Wars game I've played since Jedi Knight II.

The story elements are what made the first one, and it is really sad to hear they are missing in this game.

I'll probably pick it up in a year when it is $19.00 at walmart.

From what I hear though Fable III is somewhat of a dissapointment as well. IGN has a review up and I think I'm going to pass on that one, even though I did enjoy the first two games.

It is sounding like Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood has my money.

I'm really starting to believe that this guy has no idea what a good game is, he also ripped into Fallout New Vegas, and while he was right about the bugs, just about everything else in his review he was wrong on, so i'm taking this review with a grain of salt and still picking up the game and i'm sure will enjoy it, i have no reason to believe he knows what hes talking about right now

"It simply cobbles together glorified fan fiction for what amounts to an unexceptional subplot as it abruptly ends in the second act screaming, 'SEQUEL GOES HERE!'"

Sounds familiar... ah, yes -- Knights of the Old Republic 2!

LucasArts has a way of taking a new narrative that starts out strong and destroying it in the second verse.

I've played the first two levels so far. It's a lot like the first game, if you can forgive some of its misgivings, it's a pretty fun game.

The boss battle in the second level was actually really cool, although a bit frustrating.

The more reviews I read about squeals ending up worse than their preprocessor this quarter the more I think games like Vanquish have a chance at doing great.

Great, another mediocre Star Wars brawler. WHERE'S MY NEXT-GEN JEDI KNIGHT GAME?!?!? Seriously, with all the advancements in tech, physics, and FPS's in general, how in the hell have they not made another Jedi Knight game yet?

Well, color me surprised,

The first game game was pretty darn ordinary. Aside from the use of force, everything else was awful.

IMO It just sold because it had "star wasrs" written on it. I really regret spending $15 on that game.

"But as a follow-up experience to the original game, it's one I can never wash off, wish I could forget and don't plan to acknowledge ever existed. "

And yet it still managed three stars. Huh..

Remember the days when ANY game LucasArts put out was virtually guaranteed to be of the highest quality?

why was there no mention of the graphical improvements? The new graphics look awesome in this game! The additions like lighting effects and motion blur are really stunning and how can you not mention peoples heads and hands being cut of with the lightsabers! that alone justifies the price of the game helloooo

Hmm, not particularly surprising. The first Force Unleashed is currently the best-selling Star Wars game to date, despite being heavily flawed, and this sounds like a hastily thrown-together sequel to try and make some easy money off franchise inertia. LucasFilms/LucasArts are quite expertise at that.

This game did have potential, other than that I have to say I am very disappointed in Lucas Arts for coming out with such a short game, I Beat it in over 4 hours, Albet there were many improvements to the targeting and force powers, but over all the story was just needed allot more Plot, And Dialog, also a fight with Bobba Fett would have been great too.

As I said folks it had the potential, but I am sorry to say that as a sequel it sucks, and I am ashamed of buying that Special Edition version too. It's just not worth the money to buy, Rent it if you have to. I also Advise that if Lucas Arts comes out with any more games, that gamers be more cautious of what there getting, Needless to say I am going to be less enthusiastic about any more up coming games until I get a full report after a games release. I suppose this is what I get for jumping the gun, its time for consumers to be more Knowledgeable.

Where did Quality control go........ Wheeeeeeewwwww out the window!
