Goddamn, I know.

It wasn't enough to release two games. They had to release the action figures, and the movie, and the t-shirts, and the merchandise tie-ins at 7-11, and..

Oh, wait...

Funny thing is, give it some time and if the movie actually happens then maybe....

And I'm totally ok with drinking from a Sully covered SlurpeeĀ®

I'm really looking forward to this. I'm halfway through the Fable book and I'm really enjoying it; I'd imagine this book will have me similarly pleased. Tie-in books can be really fun reads. Not necessarily gonna win any awards, but some are definitely worth the time.

That's cool. Don't know why I got down-voted; hit a nerve maybe? LOL, I find it really funny, actually. All I really meant is the way companies generally handle video games these days which is to bleed the heck out of them. And typically the results are subpar. I wouldn't call myself a shut-in but I really like games a lot and don't like how companies handle them, i.e. the potential Shadow of the Colossus movie -- I'm really 'noid about that one. But I'm not saying ALL media is bad. In fact, I didn't even know they had a Fable book out. I may give it a try since you say it's really good and plus I don't have a 360 (yet).

"Nathan Drake drove the Panzer Tank off of the Space Needle, causing a frickin' ginormous explosion."

That's the ONLY way to fill that sentence out.

Nathan Drake drove the segway off of the cliff, causing a moderately-sized explosion.

Pfft, I'll just wait for the Nolan North audiobook. Maybe we'll be lucky and it will be one of the fancy ones with more than one reader, so sully can be in it too!

@AJW I'm sorry to say it, but you sir are an idiot. Either that, or you don't read adaptations very often. There is no way the novel will sound like that. It will sound like a typical novel...just taking place in the Uncharted universe.

Star Wars novels describe lightsaber duels with far more detail and finesse than watching them can show you, so I expect the confrontations to be rock solid here.

I enjoyed the Gears of War novel. Can't wait for this. It's fun getting a deep insight on the Characters life.

Don't get me wrong, I loved both Uncharted games, but when you take a game that's clearly created as an homage to many other works of fiction already - Raiders, Tomb Raider, Jewel of the NIle, National Treasure et al (which are all derivative of earlier works anyway), making a movie or book out of it, seems like as original as a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy, doesn't it?

I just wonder how Nathan Drake will stand out against other hapless fictional tough guys who find themselves in fantastic circumstances. He'll make a wise crack, make a death defying leap, shoot a guy, punch a guy, he'll be panicky and nervous, but ultimately come through unscathed. Just like Dr. Jones.

Im always up for a good read. But with all the shoot outs in the game Im curious to see how it'll be put into words.

Is there gonna be a Limited Collector's Edition where you get a little half-assed game (in hard cover, of course) based on the book?
