For Halloween I am dressing up as Bolo Santosi.

The game is a blast! You can kind of play the game forever, which is incredible since there's no multiplayer...

Really really hope they add online co-op in JC3!!!!!'

@TaintedKane It is my favorite open world game bar none. I'm cuorious what short comings the game has they are thinking of? Because there are none.

Adding multiplayer to this game would basically make it candy-coated crack. lol

@Jack Kevorkian Worthless story? Repetitive locations? Repetitive objectives? Unremarkable missions? Iffy vehicle controls? Not-quite user friendly Black Market?

Don't get me wrong. I loved the game, but it could certainly be better. You could always read Joystiq's review of the game if you want to know what shortcomings he's referring to.

@Arteen Sure I could read it. But then I would just confirm he was wrong on all counts. Much like your points.

@Arteen Yeah, that mission where you surf nuclear missiles whilst trying to shoot down the corrupt president was incredibly boring.

I would buy it here in the US if it were $30. I am sure it will become a Greatest Hits before the end of the year.

I played this game more than GTA4... I think I've actually put more hours in this game than I ever thought I would.

Here's the best part: Of the hundreds of hours I've played the game, I've probably only done 5% of the story. This what they are probably getting at when they say shortcomings, but to me this was an added feature, not having to do some stupid quest to get bad ass equipment, no imaginary walls preventing you from exploring until you've reached a certain milestone, just a HUGE open world with lots to do and lots of ways to do it.

@Omnistatic

Though I didn't play as much as you, I did the same thing... Spent more time exploring than on the story..

On a side note "count"... you always make me laugh...

I was just playing this today. I got it for just over $30 just 3 months ago. I've played it just over 40 hours and have just 45% completion. I've just had so much fun with this game. I've even enjoyed it more than I did Red Dead Redemption which just blows my mind. RDR feels like a better made game and it has a a better story, but Just Cause 2 is just more fun. The parachute and grapple combo just makes makes a mockery of every other form of travel known to man.

@Uracat When I drive my stupid car to and fro for transportation purposes I get angry. I blame you Just Cause.

@Uracat

I agree with you, RDR was more polished for sure, and had multiplayer, but I had a ton of fun riding motorbikes off cliffs, tethering jets together, and making Michael-Bay-esque explosion sequences in JC2.

Great premise this game had, poor poor poor execution.

Poor controls too.

The only problem I had on the PC was the mouse lag. I could rake my mouse hard left and there is about a .5 second lag from when the screen responds :(.

Though if the PS3 drops to $30 I'll be definitely picking it up.
