Yes, but Team Meat wisely realized they would actually make money by putting it on XBLA. I buy Wiiware games, but very few other people do. Microsoft even made a month long 'Game Feast' promotion for them. Microsoft also stipulated that the Wii/PC would have to release at least a month after the XBLA version.

Why did they compress it so much for XBLA? What is the file size limit on xbox?

@Poor Tom Maybe they were just doing it out of the kindness of their hearts, for people who still have 20 GB hard drives. Thank you, Team Meat.

I was going to wait for it on WiiWare because I like the classic controller's d-pad so much, but now I'm glad I bought it on Live.

I wanted to wait for WiiWare because I don't like the 360 controller. Now I'm glad I got it + the soundtrack for as much as it will cost on WiiWare whenever it's released.

Seems weird that they had to compress so much for XBLA when there are plenty of games that are not shy to reach the 2.0 GB limit. Maybe they were just preparing for the Wii version and knew they'd have to compress eventually.

Prediction...

...it's never going to be released on WiiWare.

They have to compress the heck out of it. Then they have to submit it to Nintendo's QA which could take a long time. Then they have to get a slot in the Wiiware schedule. It could be a long time, but it will release eventually.

I am shocked by how much I like this game.
Some of the levels are very hard, but doable.
It's still on sale for $10 on XBLA, but goes back up to $15 soon.

I can honestly say I don't care. The PC version is better anyway; has a level editor.

Looks like a shoop to me, I can tell from some of the pixels, and having seen quite a few shoops in my time.

That said, I will buy this on PC.
