Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit trailer tours Seacrest County
24
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit wants you to believe Seacrest County is a "driver's paradise," but we feel this latest trailer ignores the best thing Seacrest has to offer: Señor Guapo's Bakery on Alameda boulevard. Seriously, don't visit just to drive around, go have the churro of your life.

Wish I had money for it, Fable 3 stole $80 from me.

Pre-ordered long ago. I loved the first games, and I'm so glad this is being made by Criterion. Burnout 3 is my favourite racing game.

Agreed, Criterion wins at making arcade racers!
p.s. Thank you SO SO much Joystiq for FINALLY fixes your video player so it works in Firefox and Chrome!

This video just shot my "want" factor for this game up like 300%. I loved NFS: HP2 for PS2 (i.e. "the good version")..and I can't imagine Criterion would do anything but an excellent reimagination of it.

@Squirtbot You had to bring up the announcer from Burnout Paradise, the most annoying douche bag ever.
What did he call himself, "DJ Atomica" or something like that(?) Ugh.

A question,
Does it play like Burnout Paradise where you basically roam in open world to get missions OR we can only get missions by selecting them in a list like in the demo?

@Presaria I'm pretty sure it's like the demo. I don't think Hot Pursuit has any freeroaming in it.

Really? I want to sightseeing! :D
The places look more diverse in this game. Should have an option that allows us to get missions by freeroaming, and when lazy, we can just go to mission list and choose from there.

This is exactly what the series was missing. I was sick and tired of urban settings or circuits, every freaking year. Loving these new environs!
Now, I just hope the rest of the game holds up.

Cool! This should bring back life to NFS series. I'm a fan of both Hot Pursuit and Criterion's Burnout games. So this should be an easy pick. :D
