Wonder if they'll keep it like this. & have it so that you could leave you house & buy a card that cost less or pay 60 bucks without leaving your home. I think that's a great incentive to get people outdoors

@AplusM What's stopping you from canceling your preorder with Best Buy?

Any other games with this offer? I just bought my Xbox 360, and I have zero desire to play Black Ops ... but I wouldn't mind a cheap gold subscription.

Thats a good price for the one year. And it should be the price of it in general.

Amazon's deal is slightly better. 60 for the game, with a twenty dollar credit. Since a 12 month Xbox Live card is like 40 dollars on Amazon, that comes out to 80 for both with the credit (assuming you can use it on Xbox Live cards). You'd save ten bucks, plus tax doing it that way.

I'm glad I bought surplus cards when they were on sale.

How long do those Amazon Credit Points last?

@philmcfail - The end of November. The deal is only helpful if there is something else you want within the month.

Your Amazon credit for BO only lasts til the end of the month??? Are you sure? Because when I bought Halo Reach, the expiration date on my credit was January 2011 (which gave me 4 months to use).

3. To redeem your promotional credit, add an item from the Amazon Video Games store sold and shipped by Amazon.com to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout. The discount from the promotional credit will be visible after you have reached the final checkout stage. The promotional credit must be used by its expiration date, 11/30/2011

Did they make a mistake? This was under the terms/conditions.

@philmcfail - According to the terms, the credit will arrive when the game ships. Hopefully that will be the case.

@BananaBoat - I should mention that the credit is just applied to your account. They don't actually send you anything (except for an e-mail perhaps)

I'm with you. To all the naysayers: Activision has already announced they are releasing CoD games once a year. You obviously don't hear much about it now because they want you to spend your $$ on BO. Next year MW3 (or some variation of it) will be out. And some of us are patient enough to wait for it.

You paid it off but didn't pick it up so you can go back in and get your money or see if gamestop will price match it for you. I had them do this with the best buy offer for Halo: Reach. Hope this works for you.

All you guys are doing is missing out on a great game so in the end, it's your loss. I'm pretty sure Activision isn't going to feel the effects of a few people not buying Black Ops but you guys go ahead and keep riding the high and mighty road and keep on truckin' ;-p
