@Crimson Major

Well, it's developed by EA Canada and you're on a blog owned by America OnLine, so it's "soccer" my friend ;)

I'm not saying Soccer is used worldwide, I'm British so definitely it's Football, but it's a Canadian developed game being discussed on an American owned blog, imo they're free to call it Soccer without people bitching about it.

seriously people, get over yourselves. learn to bitch about something worthwhile like the environment or something. football, soccer, hockey, it's all the same as long as you enjoy it.

Oh, and for the record, the only people bitching about it are the people who replied to it complaining about bitching. You should know by now that the accidental slip of the word soccer instead of football in any football / soccer related topic will attract attention from people who want to correct it for the fun of it and to start debacles like this, lol

The thing is, there's nothing to "correct". It's called soccer in the US. End of story.

Good news. Hoping to some free DLC for the PC players, in the near future.

And, yes, the name given by EA is wrong. It's Football, not soccer.

You guys know that Soccer is actualy a term invented by the English Football to distance themselfs from the, in their eyes "barbaric", American Football?

Actually, I believe that's only half true. You're right in that "soccer" is a term that is originally English, coming from Association Football, but that was to separate from regular football which we now call rugby.

OMG EA is so generous!

In other news you need to play 10 games to buy your first pack of cards, or for the very reasonable price of $2....

I wish people who stop praising these useless pillocks. The game has been flat out broken since day one and still hasn't been fixed.

Oh and they removed the two-four player guest option in UT. So now I can't play with my friends on UT when they come over. Thanks EA Sports.

Couldn't agree more. This game has been a huge let down. Guess it kind of shows how much EA really care about their fans, releasing a game that is so broken and making us wait until mid november to fix it, that is if this patch actually does the job something we all know it probably wont...

Oh and yeah removing the two-four player guest option in UT online tournaments is definately a step in the wrong direction.

And yet, Wii gamers get awful versions of the FIFA games. The gameplay is good, but the PES games are much better on Wii than FIFA (in features, gameplay, graphics, etc.).
