GOD DAMN. i can't wait for this game. I haven't really played a tekken game since Tekken Tag because they all seemed inferior. This looks awesome. also first?

Inferior:
1: situated lower down (most common meaning)
Compared to one's favorite game, every other game is inferior.

Oh, the fond memories I've had of Tekken Tag Tournament. Losing my virginity while I delivered a Phoenix Smasher...two one-hit k.o.'s with one series of movements... good times...good times.

Well, it was a week and some change after I just turned 14. Tekken Tag Tournament came out and I picked it up the on the 28th of October. The next day, during school, I invited this girl, who I had developed feelings for over the past year, to come over to my house to see my PS2.
Long story short we were playing a round. She threw down her controller and initiated some real life Tekken(if you catch my drift). With a free hand I initiated the simple combo string that is the Phoenix Smasher. She noticed what I had just done as Nina fell to the floor and PERFECT flashed up across the screen and the announcer screamed "YOU WIN!" She laughed and I both laughed because I really did win.
That is something I will never forget.

@xpander2k i think 2009 already took that award.. blazblue, king of fighters XII, street fighter IV, tekken 6, mk vs dc universe, and tatsunoko vs capcom (well.. i imported it in dec 08, but you get the idea).
lets not forget virtua fighter 5r is coming next year.. and who knows if sf x tekken will make it before 2012.. from what namco was saying, tekken x sf will definitely not make 2011.

It doesn't seem unfair at all, especially since you can avoid the combo move, as was shown directly after the "unfair" attack.

As long as they don't have to cripple the moves list this time around I'm really looking forward to it. First Tag Tourney was great but had a fraction of the moves as Tekken 3. :(

Cant wait, this is going to be awesome. My cousins and I are going to have a blast with this. Tekken Tag was one of those games we always looked forward to playing when we got together... Gosh it's been so long! I just know this is going to be worth the wait.

I loved Tekken Tag, I always was upset that the later games didn't have tag battles (the ones I played, at least). Good to see it returning.
