Hitman 5 mentioned on a few IO Interactive resumes
19
If you were unsatisfied by voice actor David Bateson's kind-of-but-not-really confirmation that a new installment of the Hitman franchise was in the works, perhaps you'll be won over by some additional, recently uncovered evidence. IO Interactive's Rasmus Hoejengaard, Damien Simper and Theo Engell-Nielsen all listed Hitman 5 on their LinkedIn resumes, the latter of which includes a 2011 launch window for the unannounced title.
We're not sure what stronger evidence we could find for the project's existence, aside from, like, time traveling into the future and bringing back a finished copy of the game. Can anyone get on that?

Blood Money is one of the most fun games I have ever played. So this sounds like great news to me.

Blood Money was fantastic.
It had it's problems of course, but each one has gotten better.

Just got back from the future... And I gotta say, I was really looking forward to this game, I've been a fan ever since 2. But, in a disturbing trend, the developers wanted to make Agent 47 more "relatable", so they gave him this gay emo haircut, and got a younger-sounding voice actor. It's not Nolan North, but you can tell that's what they were going for.
Other than that, pretty enjoyable I guess. My favorite mission had me dressed in a chicken outfit and delivering pizza (why?), and attempting to kill the CEO of a large multinational oil conglomerate at his kid's birthday party. There was like 15 pizzas and you have to do this minigame-like balancing act using Kinect or Move... or else the pizzas fall, and all the security guards shoot you. Right in front of the kids. Damn, shoulda taken that clown's outfit instead!

I cannot wait for this motherlicker.
Blood Money is one of the only games I 100%ed for actual fun, on the Xbox. Then I got the 360 version and 100%ed that as well for FUN.
Remember when games were fun? Before there were achievements to make you play the game on Hard until you killed that boss... Seems so long ago...

There was never any doubt in my mind that IO has been working on prototype mechanics for Hitman 5. I am just disappointed that they ignored Freedom Fighters and Hitman as games that should have already been developed for this generation of consoles.
