LittleBigPlanet's original concept sketches and showreel are disturbing
21
Prepare yourselves to be genuinely unsettled, dear readers. Media Molecule released a batch of truly revealing concept art and an animation test, revealing the true reason for LittleBigPlanet's protagonist's plushy composition. Now, we're just guessing, but by the media seen below, we think Sackboy is made of ... well, sack, because it makes him all the more entertaining to squish, crush, immolate and eviscerate. We may never look at him (or his creators) the same way again.
Check out the disturbing concept art in the gallery below, and the even disturbing-er animation reel after the jump.

Man, I don't think I want to know what burning burlap smells like.
Let alone burning burlap that's ALIVE.

Wow... that was dark.. I guess they had to have something to counteract the epic amount of cuteness in LBP2

My reaction cannot be described with an onomatopoeia. Best description: Woody's reaction to Buzz falling for his "Buzz look an alien!" prank in Toy Story.

It was a pleasure to be burned.

The animation of sackboy being flattened against the wall, and then sliding down it ... that was hilarious! Would have been awesome if it was included in the original game.
