Show off with Conduit 2's Limited Edition

If you're a fan of both The Conduit and displays of wealth, you'll be happy to know that if you buy Conduit 2 from GameStop, you can make both your copy and your in-game character look more opulent. The retailer is offering a limited-edition version of High Voltage's Wii FPS (for the same $50 price as the regular edition) that includes an art book. It's just the thing to show off the fact that you have a limited edition.

In addition to the art book, you'll get in-game bonuses including the "Eye of Ra," a version of the All Seeing Eye that finds hidden items twice as quickly, and "Gold Destroyer Armor" for multiplayer, which is like the normal armor, but golden.

Ah, how I love the emphasis on aspects of a given item which have no impact on anything important. Joystiq seems to hit that sweet spot of making it funny, instead of making it seem like you're listening to your 12-year-old cousin describe the myriad ways his button presets allow him to be a destroyer of on-line personas.

That armor makes me wanna play too human.

Someone else mentioning Too Human makes me want to play Too Human. Love that game!

Awesome. I am really excited for the sequel to last year's generic-'em-up.

Hopefully Sega can port 1 & 2 over to the PS3 with Move and HD support. Otherwise, I'll need to dust off the Wii.

So Conduit gets you to play the Wii but not Sonic, Kirby, Donkey Kong, 007, Metroid, etc?

Ha. Good point. Kirby, Donkey, and Metroid yes. Have Metroid already but haven't played it because....I have to dust off the Wii. Hell, haven't played Galaxy 2 yet. Sonic and 007 I would prefer in HD but will get them if there's never a port. Truthfully, I'd like the others in HD too. Sadly, I have about 30 Wii games but have only really played 5 of them.
