I can respect his wishes of being on the 'frontlines' of videogame development. In any career, it's always important that you do what you LOVE, because it ultimately results in better job performance. Just my 0.02 cents :-)

I'm glad he didn't let the situations he had with his father destroy his life. It's sad to see how they changed his position at capcom. After resident evil they essentially took from him what he wanted to do.

I can't wait to see what will be created by him next.

So two of the best works he did was the first and forth RE games... and capcom drove him off the creative plantation both time?!
