Word. Luigi's Mansion was awesome. It was like survival horror for kids, only actually a better game than most survival horror titles.

Whenever CollegeHumor does a Mario-skit, they always kind of seem like they're just taking crib notes from the popular opinion. "The GameCube Mario games? We never played those, but everyone says they sucked, so they must be right!". In fact, a lot of the jokes just seem like they were taken from the perspective of a new gamer who only started playing games when the Wii came around.

But yeah, you're partially right. The crack about Mario games being easy (coming from Link, no less) doesn't really seem accurate in light of the most recent ones. To be fair, though, a lot of people really did hate Luigi's Mansion (though I don't understand why and I have never been one of them).
