@BigE4284 It probably was earlier. There were WAY more games earlier that morning, joystiq didn't post this til over 12 hours later. For instance, they have Katamari Forever for $9.99, which sold out early.

Quit shilling some crap online game, you're almost as bad as those bots that sell "famale" goods.

For sure, The World Ends with You. That game is amazing :)

I picked up Birth by Sleep for $20. I'm working a very low paying AmeriCorps position right now, but $20 is just within my splurge zone. I'm always very impressed with Amazon's holiday deals, and the free 2-day shipping I got from my Prime Trial makes it all amazing :)

Jumping on that same train, The World End's with You is by far one of, if not, the best game on the DS.

The Joystiq sites have been crap today. People are double-posting all over the place.

They have been slow, unresponsive, and timing out.

My thought process when reading this on the main page:

"What? $15? Chrono Trigger is a $70 CIB SNES game! Wait, what are they doing selling SNES---ohhhh yeaaaaahhhhh it was ported to the DS...:

It irks me when they have a sale like this, and the version of a game they sell isn't for the system you want.

For example, if they were selling Street Fighter 4 (which they aren't) they would have it up for the XBox360, but not the PS3 or pc.

I was using the first Street Fighter 4 as an example, since they used Super Street Fighter 4 in the post above,

But if you notice, the XBox360 and PS3 version of the game are $15, while the pc version is $27, not on sale. So my point still stands. If you are going to slap a game on sale, it would be nice if all of them were.

Little Kings Story for fifteen bucks, and Demon's Souls for twenty are great deals as well.

If I had to go for one, I'd say that this is a great time to get into Demon's Souls, before they turn the servers off.

On the one hand, I love reading Joystiq for stories such as these, for all the money I can save—getting 'Batman: Arkham Asylum' for $14.99 saves me an entire trip on BlackFriday (based on OTHER Joystiq stories!), but now I'm out $61 since all the other deals for DS and PS3 games alike were irresistible! Thank you, Joystiq—Amazon should almost pay you commission for all the purchases I've made by starting from an article and blinking at my Invoices listings later!
