How many of those thousand cars are mini vans? I'm still getting it but I won't be caught dead in a danged dodge caravan unless it's the 1986 model.

I don't mind this issue.
It's not like Gran Turismo is short on race cars and exotic cars and sports cars. It's cool to have something like a museum of all sorts of interesting cars that aren't sporty, too. Sometimes, it's actually cool to realize just how much cars have advanced.
Just one example, take a Honda Odyssey from this game and race a sports car from the 1960s. You'll be surprised when the Honda is competitive with an old supercar.
