I'm really interested to see how many people will actually pay money for something when they don't have to.

@jleon6 Protip: look on the item description on the right side. Joystiq shows product info and MSRP. :) $10 if you dont want to look up.

How did Radiohead's "In Rainbows" cd do when it went PWYW (or "pwhu-yew")?

@Marco le Polo Apparently they made more money off of that model alone for their CD than for any other CD they've done through industry.

I'm downloading the demo first. I could only run World of Goo and Samorost 2 from the humble indie bundle and that was my third World of Goo (Wii first, PWYW, then Indie Bundle).

If I can't run it then I will just get the Wiiware version.

Can not get the pay what you want option to work. I do not know if it is all the traffic from people downloading or what. Game seems fun, I have been curious about it. Lovely art style.

@The Wicker Man Yep, it's definitely down due to traffic! Sorry you haven't been able to get through. We've been working on it for a few hours now and it comes and goes. If you get through, awesome. If not, just shoot me an email and we'll work something out.

games@yawma.net

That goes for anyone that's running into problems with the site! Shoot me an email. We don't want to leave anyone behind. Oh, if you get it to purchase, but can't get the download to work. You can always re-download it on another day. It stays activated in your account.

Seems to be very popular

"Due to huge amount of people coming to Yawma.net, servers went down, and we're currently working to increase production capacity to support all requests. Please come again tomorrow, and we'll be ready."

Looks like we're going to redeploy on wednesday to make sure we can handle the load. I'll be sure to post here when we're live.
