Steam has a big "Give and Get" sale going on throughout the weekend, with a couple of daily deals mixed in for good measure (and your post-download pleasure). Musical racer Audiosurf is a steal at $2.50, and we can't imagine hiring better heroes than DeathSpank and Batman for just over $10 each. Have a look at the full list:

I love seeing people make funny jokes cause they know it'll get upvoted. It's also led to a few voting-related jokes.
The voting system shouldn't be removed. As this very comment thread shows, it's pretty useful.

Well, sorry, we ran other content on the hour throughout the day, and decided that 15 hours on the clock was still plenty of time to check this out.

The Indie Story Pack is excellent. $5 for Gish(now known as "that first unlock in Super Meat Boy"), Puzzle Agent(excellent Layton-style game, but far more stylish and with a better narrative), And Yet It Moves(VERY innovative and stylish platform/puzzle game), Jolly Rover, and Recettear(probably one of the most creative JRPG-style games I've ever played). BUY IT.

Not being rude or anything, but teehee over the fact that you glossed over Jolly Rover.

@Drake Lake Haven't played it. My first impression was that it was a furry Monkey Island rip-off, but first impressions can't always be right so I was going with the games in the pack that I *know* are EXCELLENT and worth $5 in their own right, let alone in a pack with a bunch of other awesome games.

I thought the exact same thing when I first saw Jolly Rover about it being a Monkey Island rip-off. After playing it about halfway through, though, it's a great game in its own right and I'd recommend it to anyone who likes the Monkey Island series.
The main touch I like is that it uses blue text and white text to distinguish whether or not clicking on something will give a new response, which can be great if you're like me and try to get every line of dialogue possible.
Also, since nobody seems to be mentioning it, I've got Defense Grid: The Awakening and it's a pretty good tower defense game, and for $2.50, there's hardly any reason NOT to get it if you like that genre.

You should mention the Indie story pack includes Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale which is normally $20 alone. A real treat, I picked it up today!

I want it, but I don't want any of the other games in the pack.
It irks the hell out of me that the bundle is $5, but the game itself is $20. You can't even gift the other games away. And those four games would be sitting there, forever on my list and not installed.

Two of the four games I am semi-interested in. The other two, not at all. I will just wait for another deal, and supposedly there is a 10 pack coming up. Maybe that one is actually cheaper than the normal price, like the rest of them
@jasu78
Because then there would be 4 games sitting on my list I could never get rid of, even if I never played them.

Yes!
I was just about to say something about this. The only game I was hoping to be on sale was Recettear, and $5 for that and four other great indie games is an amazing freakin' deal.

Finally, an excuse to get into EVE Online! I played WOW for a little while so I should be really good at this game. Look out world, there's a new space pilot in town. I'm gonna name my ship the Shooty Doomwagon and own so many noobs. Yes, finally something to keep me going. I have a great feeling about this!

I just want to add that I don't care this is old news. I've been wanting a cheap version of Arkham Asylum GOTY for a while now. If Joystiq had not posted this, I would have completely missed out on the deal.
Joystiq, thanks for posting the deal, late or not!!
