Valve Store offering deals on merchandise, adding new Left 4 Dead plushes

Today's batch of daily Steam weekend deals is pretty radical, decimating the prices of jams like The Ball, World of Goo and The Orange Box -- however, you shouldn't ignore the other big sale Valve is currently hosting. Dozens of shirts, hats and other pieces of merchandise from the company's titles are currently on sale through The Valve Store. Many pieces of apparel are temporarily marked down to just five bucks; that's some cheap holiday shopping for your more game-savvy acquaintances.

If you can hold off from capitalizing on these offers, you might be interested in two new items which will soon arrive on the Valve Store's virtual shelves -- plushes modeled after Left 4 Dead's gnarliest foes, the Hunter and Tank. You'll be able to place these bad boys next to your equally squeezable (and upsetting) Boomer plush when they go on sale in late December.

These plushes should come with health warnings.

Okay, seriously, the Orange Box is $7.50 now. If you don't buy it now (that is, if you don't already own it), you'll hate yourself a lot.

@BPMOmega XBL PSN Steam Been waiting a long time for it to go down to $9.99 (I don't own it; don't hurt me). Saw it for $7.50, and made sure I had more than enough funds in my PayPal account.

Bought.

They sell their games for so cheap on Steam, yet their clothing is still so DAMN EXPENSIVE. I know there is a sale right now, but a shirt should not be $30, sorry.

What are you seeing? I'm seeing shirts with regular price of $20 marked down to $10 and $5. Not $30.

The sad thing about the orange box deal is that I own everything in there but TF2. Buying this for $7.50 would give me 4 games I already own, but it would still be cheaper than buying TF2 on its own. :|

in the last week i picked up sam and max: episode 3, machinarium, and world of goo--all for 18 bucks. thank you steam!

These would look good besidey Angry Birds plushies and Killzone Helghast plushies!

Some of the deals are decent but the shipping is pretty rough.

As far as today's Steam sales though, one thing that doesn't irk me but somehow doesn't sit well with me is... bit.trip.beat was part of a 5-pack of games for $5 yesterday, which I unfortunately had to pass on due to being extremely low on cash... and now the game itself is $5, one day later.

It was perplexing.

My boomer plush is defective. When I squeezed it it exploded.

Picked up World of Goo today, at $2.50 its a STEAL. Especially when the last time I checked on the Wii it was $12 or $15
