No deals we haven't already been seeing all weekend. If I didn't bite then, I'm not going to now. And Medal of Honor is $29.00 right now on Amazon via lightening deal.

@Fallow something in your past we should know about? JK

Well I guess the prices are good, but most of those games aren't so great. Now if SOCOM 4, LBP2 and Twisted Metal PS3 had all been released this fall, I would've been looking for the hottest christmas deals on them. Instead we have Black ops and GT5, which are not going to be on sale any time soon unless you buy them used.

Bestbuy.com's cyber monday video game deals are so much better than amazon's and buy.com's deals.

IMO almost every gaming deal sucked this year, aside from a few console deals. But even those are pointless if you already have the console. As usual, only Steam sales are remarkable.

@WiNGSPANTT from TopTierTacticsco Disagree. I got Left for Dead 2 for $9.99 on a lightening deal. I was also pretty happy to get Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time for $14.99.

I agree. Amazon had God of War Collection for $9.99. Pretty much the only thing that was a steal from them this year. They're pretty much out of character. A damn shame. At least they had some good Blu-ray deals. Even Barnes & Noble shockingly got in on blu-ray deals (Austin powers collection, Ocean's collection $12 each)

Steam's sales were pretty unspectacular, though the gift giving idea was neat. Pretty much the same discounts we've seen before, some even worse. I'm sure their Christmas deal will make up for it, though.

At least Woot seems to be having a Woot-off Tonight which is sure to be disappointingly bad like their other recent ones as well.

got Need for Speed Hot Pursuit for 35 and Medal of Honor for 30. This on top of buying Gran Turismo 5, Black Ops, and Asassin's Creed Brotherhood (those for full price :( ). My wallet hurts...I'm spending far too much money on MYSELF rather than as gifts.

@(Unverified) Pretty sure you can't get the 360 version through Steam, so no, I didn't 'lose out' L4D2 is only worthwhile for the multiplayer and none of my friends are going to game with me on their laptops,

I'm waiting for their "spring cleaning" thing they do around February/March, where a TON of games go for dirt cheap.

@Teancum

It was 34.99 over the weekend at both Target and Best Buy in store as well as Amazon.com.

Oddly last I looked Need for Speed was listed as in-store pick up only. If you're going to make it $35 online, but force me to pick it up at the store, why not just sell it for that price at the store?

If Split/Second or NFS were available for PC at these prices, I'd snap them up in a heartbeat, but I don't buy console games when there's a PC alternative.

@Wulf You're in luck, because Best Buy has Split/Second for $10 for PC, at least online. You could always do in-store pick-up.

Games don't ruin your system....The 60 percent failure rate of the older 360's does. Don't be a tool.
