hope the gameplay matches the visuals.

@neftones the gameplay is supposed to be turn based, so it's not like a full-on soul caliber fighter (from what i can gather from the demo)
this might work though - a game like Id's Rage, is an FPS but on rails. it isolates the core concept and unitasks it as a game. not at all as complex as a console game, but for a mobile game it's brilliant.

This came truly looks amazing... Just can't believe they have achieved this level of graphics on these mobile devices... This will be the only game i've been looking forward to buying on my iPad

Any idea if there will be a demo available? I know there was the tech demo from earlier this year, but I'd like to see how the combat works before I decide to buy it or not.

This game looks really nice. I was hoping for a cheaper price though. Black Friday has left a black hole in my wallet

Wow that's fast, from reveal to release, unlike, say, most high profile console games.

I'm assuming that the iPad/iPhone 4 versions are the same, it seems weird that they wouldn't release a version for the 4.

that's about as far as you can take the PowerVR chip. Hoenstly it just looks like Dreamcast SoulCalibur.

@inteller Are you insane? The power VR chip in the Dreamcast is like 12 years old dude....
THIS is what you are comparing this games graphics to?

Don't mean to flame ya but I think a new pair of glasses are in order... This game's graphics look like soul calibur 4 sans the dynamic shadows.

*SIGH* I can't play this on my 2G iPod touch, right?
December 9th? That's the date when Sony is expected to reveal the PSPhone.

For that price it better have a solid game behind the pretty graphics or I'll just wait till it is on sale. $0.99 has destroyed my sense of value.

@Chazzr Well to be fair, for one, you're probably not playing (trying to play?) your games at 1024x768 or lower. Also, you should upgrade your computer(s) :)
