Isn't PETA the organization that got a bunch girls to pose naked "to raise awareness against animal cruelty"?

That was a far more effective way of getting gamers' attention.

Sponsor a vegan near you! Find someone who doesn't eat meat, take them out to dinner, and eat two servings of steak or something, just for spite!

I have a strange feeling that Team Meat will respond with something unbelievably offensive to vegans.

I await it with bated breath.

@chargen being a vegan/vegetarian is not directly connected to caring about animals. I am vegetarian and couldn't care less that other people enjoy eating meat. There is nothing "offensive" to vegans as if it is some moral based religion. Whatever they come up with might be offensive to PETA, but that would not have to include those who don't eat meat.

Something unbelievably offensive to normal people, or to PETA fanatical people?

Because if its PETA people, EVERYTHING is extremely offensive.

How about they stop making stupid games, go where animals are skinned alive for their furs, and rescue them.
This is boooooriiiiiiiiing.

Ah, the old rolling of the sleeves, ah? No this is easier and less sweat inducing. On the other hand it might convince the devs to...or the game's fans to...stop playing games about animate meat.

Well I guess it's comepletely innefective and preaching to the choir, ut the easier part is still aplicable.

True. Some vegans find it OK to eat human placentas. You can google up a video if you want to watch it.

Gah, he's right...I remember seeing a special on HBO about this very thing years ago.

I say we start eating Vegans...it would make them happier and could be considered an organic staple.

So either PETA were "inspired" by a genuinely brilliant product enough to make what's ultimately a shameless ripoff meant to promote their political message, /or/ they actually think Meat Boy is trying to promote an omnivorous diet, the same way they thought Lady Gaga's meat-dress was a chic fashion statement.

PETA's anti-meat message aside, this is gross and shameful.
