Metroid: Other M for $20 at Amazon for two hours only

Here's a chance to spend something other than full retail price for a new copy of Metroid: Other M. Amazon is currently offering the game in a lightning deal for the far-out sum of $19.99. The discount is only in effect until 6 p.m. EST / 3 p.m. PST, or until they run out, so dash on over.

So it was that bad, huh... I didn't believe the reviews, but....

I wouldn't take a sale price to mean that the game is bad. It had its flaws, but I wouldn't quite call it a "bad game," and if you've enjoyed Metroid in the past or find other cutscene heavy games enjoyable (I'm a Final Fantasy/Metal Gear nut myself), you'll probably be able to take SOMETHING positive away from Other M.

It's more likely that the reviews hurt the sales and many people just rented it or ignored it. It's well worth $20.

The fact that there's hardly EVER sales on Nintendo games speaks volumes to the quality of this title. I mean how long did it take for Smash Brothers Melee to hit $30? 5 years? Even long after the Wii was out Smash never got lower than $30.

So is this not worth it? or worth it? I heard a relative non-gamer the other going on about how it was all cut scenes. If that's how a non-gamer perceived it...it must be a glaring issue.
