I assume this is the original Commando 80's arcade release? One of my favorite arcade games. I beat it once on one quarter. I guess the "Wolf of the Battlefield" was added to avoid a lawsuit from the Schwarzenegger movie? I always thought is was a licensed game from the movie. A virtual Alyssa Milano would have made the game better. Although a much older Alyssa Milano than the movie.

I am getting this and Fluidity. If you add all the awesome WiiWare games and awesome Virtual Console games it is probably more awesomeness than PSN and XBLA.

Yes, of course.
After I get Fluidity today and Lilt Line next week,
I'll have 6 Wiiware games.
I have over a hundred on XBLA/PSN.

@FriedConsole

A bit exaggerated.
I mean, I don't have much XBLA or PSN due to me not being into most of the top marketed games - and I have a TON of Wiiware games (definitely more than average):
But I'm a friggin' niche market!

For most people, their XBLA and/or PSN games would TRAMPLE Wiiware games.

I was including Virtual Console. Mario 64 is greater than anything on XBLA or PSN and you can buy it for $10.

Well, I would buy a lot more Wiiware games if I could own and transfer the games to another Wii or the Wii HD in a couple of years. XBLA has a license transfer process you are allowed to do once a year with your computer.

Still Bit.Trip Beat is worth at lease 50 XBLA/PSN games alone.

"I guess the "Wolf of the Battlefield" was added to avoid a lawsuit from the Schwarzenegger movie?"

No, Commando's original Japanese title was "戦場の狼 (Senjou no Ookami)," which means "Wolf of the Battlefield." And, the sequel, Mercs, was Senjou no Ookami II. Note that the full title of the XBLA/PSN release Commando 3 is "Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3."

Fireplacing.........what?

I might even download this just out of curiosity if it was like $1, but for $5, I would be absolutely floored if more than 22 people worldwide even considered it.

@SimonBelmont
More than 22 people worldwide would love to have a fireplace on their TV.
...like when they bought all those DVDs of fireplaces just for their party.
...and before that, when they bought all those VHS tapes of fireplaces - also just for their party.

I won't be getting it myself - but I do not doubt the pretentious need many people have to have a fireplace that doesn't emit heat. .......

Impossible. Not only do we get two Virtual Console games, they are Virtual Console Arcade games. I thought the Arcade games were dead!

Wow. Fluidity received a demo, day and date with it's release. It's a first in 25 years of Nintendo history.

Am I the only one who thinks Fluidity bears a striking resemblance to PixelJunk Shooter? Just sayin...

I bought fluidity. The roommates already are engrossed.

And I have a ton of virtual console and wii ware stuff...over $200 worth easy. Again, if I cant transfer that over to the next console, Im for sure getting the next Microsoft system first and foremost.

@Shadow Hog I'm convinced that hell has indeed frozen over. What possessed them to release a VC game, much less two!? Maybe this means they'll release Earthbound after all. But it's too late.

The music & fx were actually created by Allister Brimble and Anthony Putson. You'd know that if you were cool ;)
