People spend money on all sorts of protectors and cases designed to keep goo off of their shiny iPads. Next Thursday, December 16, they'll be paying to put goo on them. Ironic much?
2D Boy has announced that the multi-touch-infused iPad version of its acclaimed indie game, World of Goo, has gotten the green light from Apple. It will be priced at $9.99, according to Pocket Gamer, which is in line with the price of the previously released PC and Mac versions (on Steam) -- but you have to play those using that antiquated device, the mouse. Seriously, who still owns those things?
World of Goo is also available on WiiWare for $14.99.

You know, I can't help but imagine this would probably be the best version of the game. Too bad I'll probably never get to try it out... maybe I'll use a display iPad they have at the apple store. Assuming this has a demo.

I was tempted to buy this on the wii, but then steam had to go and put it on sale for $2.50 after black friday and I couldn't resist. After playing the demo on the wii, I do like mouse control better for this game

World of Goo is still $4.99 on the Games for Windows Marketplace. I bought it again (with MS points) for the achievements.

I love this game. By far the best game on WiiWare and one of the best indie games ever made.
