EA has passed word that three of its games are now ready for the iPad: Monopoly, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and Snood can all be downloaded from the App Store right now.
These three games have been optimized for the iPad with near high-def graphics and interface tweaks made specifically for the platform. Both Monopoly and Hot Pursuit will set you back $9.99, while Snood is a bit more modestly priced at $4.99.

Have the iPod touch NFS:HP game, it's amazing! Wonder how it will be on the iPad with the motion controls and stuff. I recommend it for what it's worth. Pretty good game.

How do you control your car in NFS?
Tilting the iPad forward/backward for throttle and turning it sideways to steer?

When I saw your post, with the house at the bottom, I gasped and raced for the REPORT button, whilst being confused that you had an avatar. Then I read your actual post and stayed my hand.

Is battery the limiting factor for iDevices? Since their tech specs looks much higher on-paper compared to my older computers, yet the graphics seems no better than what they can output

I couldn't tell if that was NFS on iPad or standard GT5 vehicles.

@Bentzero yeah, close call. but better online multiplayer, better AI, and damage modeling indicates that it's the iPad version...
