That's a pretty blatant spoiler. I've only played the first game, which wasn't good enough to warrant me playing a second, though a friend just gave it to me. I guess I know the climax though. Thanks, guys!

WOW! This one looks significantly better than the other 2. I love this franchise, and it looks they are taking it to a whole new level. The weapons have always been really cool, and it looks like they are continuing that trend. The X-ray scope looks sweet, and the new game engine is jaw dropping. It's supposed to also include both online and local co-op. I'm pre-ordering this one.

Resistance 2 is a damn good games. I'll admit that the campaign is disappointing compared to the amazing campaign from FOM but overall gameplay, graphics, co-op, multiplayer, etc R2 is the better game. Hopefully R3 has the gritty style campaign of FOM and an amazing campaign in general. Stick to the routes of R2 for multiplayer. Sadly though it won't have the grinding style co-op of R2 or objective based missions with a story element. Sorry but Mailkov has no business fighting. He is not a soldier. Suddenly he's fighting off the chimera with Capelli? Wtf hopefully he isn't the character you play as in co-op or at least not for the whole game.....

Sorry,but Resistance is just not a premiere FPS series. When I bought my PS3, the first Resistance was one of the games I heard that I had to play, however being a huge Halo fan, I found it to be extremely disappointing.

I'd rather Insomniac stick with making Ratchet and Clank.

I've looked forward to each one, but this is the first time I've ever been hyped about an entry in the series. Looks great and I'm sure I wasn't the only one that was expecting to see Lady Liberty in the "A" in Resistance.

Can't wait to see this series hit even closer to home than R2 did.

R1 was one of my all time favorite games, but R2 was just "mehh" IMO. Seemed like every level had the same plot. R1 was great because it was constant hardcore gameplay. R2 was repetitive. Still a good game, just went in the opposite direction to me.

oh yea...Resistance... forgot all about that "franchise" (and i do use that word lightly).

I love Insomniac but it's going to take some good convincing to get me to bite on this franchise again. I did like the first game. I still enjoy having to search for health packs and actually manage your health. Then R2 came by and threw everything I liked about the first game out a window. Far from a terrible game, but there wasn't anything very memorable or unique about it.

I don't get why people hated resistance 2. I thought it was an awesome game and a lot better than the first one, all around. I'm pumped for this one!

Resistance 1 bland as hell but kinda neat, Resistance 2 WTF is this sht? oooooo magnum is nice...why dose this look pixelated(gets eyes check)... levels are small...... wat done already? the fck?

A side note if you are going to force 2 weapons at least triple the ammo maxs...... and lessen the ammo thats picked up on drops...... or let me chose any 2 weapons I want to carry thus doubling their max ammo.... this is as bright as Haloep 3 not allowing you to dual wield needle guns making them practically useless....

PS:to those that don;t get it, Resistance 1 uses more classic FPS rules levels are on the large side kinda mazey where you are pitied to survive the tumultuous hordes with a limtied re gen system that makes not getting hit very very very important.

For res2 its a run and gun and forget, health? who cares I can absorb an endless amount of damage with no help, weapons? you got 2 only 2 and can't carry 2 of the same so you can't er...cheat(ya thats it).

The first one needed more depth(better level layouts and vehicle levels and weaopn tweaks) the next one needs ALOT more depth in layouts, weapons are more polished but its rushed to much and has more pacing issues than the first. I also found the story in the first one much more interesting.

I liked res one as much as Gears 1(better everything even if its an average shooter ) but not as much as Haloep 3 its the grenades man.... I tell you they are just too fun LOL but ti sucks you can only carry 2 or each.... Halo has the better story and gameplay even if 2 and 3 are half the game halo 1 was.

Still have not played a FPS better than Unreal gold,Half life 1,Duke Nukem3D ,Blood,Dues ex, SS 2 Clive bakers undying and Halo 1,Turok 1-3 . Modern shooters are just to constricted and limited and yes Fallout 3 sucks due to limited equipment pacing and just overall poor balancing, I guess I can toss Mass effect into the poor FPS pile as well now(runs and hides).

I know what I like and hate the rest because its sub par and yes I am a bastard for it!

Its on the same level of gears halo and what not at least in mechanic, AI and balance wise there is little difference, story wise Halo and Gears are pretty good at times and hell Res 2 has a decent setup and story it just sucks because its the basic standard EVERYONE is using.... .

I'll give you its a diluted copy of the today's standard but what game is not diluted in qaulity these days? From Bioshock to halo to Fallout 3 to any game qaulity has been exchanged for speed of production, why re invent the story of the wheel just change setting,location,persons and things.

I'm not a huge FPSer but have and have owned quite a few - R1 was a better game than R2. I was very disappointed at R2 and to be honest, R1 didn't do much for me AT FIRST but the more I played, the more I dug it and learned to love it to the point of starting another single player campaign RIGHT AFTER beating the game. It was addicting, for some reason. R2 just did not grip me from a story level to a gameplay level (weapon wheel missing) and just the overall feel of it was weak to me.

For me, R3 has to really rise above R2. The trailer I don't really like. I hate the mix of live action with games whether it's a trailer or even in the actual game. I want all in-game graphics for both but besides that, I need to see more of R3. I am looking forward to it.

Resistance 1 was a very average game.

R2 I ddin;t buy but the beta was fairly fun but very very very unpolished.

Had nice water tho.

Still not really expecting anything from R3.
