Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception trailer reveals 11/1/11 release

During tonight's extended version of last week's exceptionally short teaser trailer, we got the release date of the PS3's major 2011 release. Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception will be released on November 1, 2011 or, as the myriad future trailers will write it: 11/1/11.

As @naughtydog tweets, that's actual gameplay at the end there. It's a small glimpse, and our capture video isn't much to write home about, but we'll embed a high-definition version as soon as we get our hands on it. In the interim, dissect what we've got in the comments. Guys, Uncharted 3 and Mass Effect 3 in November 2011? Our video game cup runneth over!

How have they made the water look even better, again? This, ME3 and Skyrim are giving me a heart attack.

OH MY GOD I'm totally not the only one to notice that. I was sitting there and I was like "Crash Bandicoot?" so I rewound it and I was totally like "WUMPA FRUIT."

Its things like these that make me want to give naughty dog every cent I ever come across.

@Jakintosh Yeah, I just went back to play it to see what you guys were talking about and I heard it right away. I'm surprised you two picked up on it right away; I was super focused on the incoming trailer that I wasn't paying attention to sounds in the beginning.

@KenobiEagle I got a kick out of "It Only Does Anagrams" at the end of the trailer.

Getting a sense of humor was the best decision Sony's made since the PlayStation 2.

I was yelling in joy when Uncharted came on.

And while they already revealed a 2011 release, I somehow was not expected the release date to feel so...not far away.

Uncharted 1: You start in the middle of the ocean.

Uncharted 2: You start in the middle of a frozen wasteland.

Uncharted 3. You start in the middle of a desert.

I think Drake is running out environments to get himself lost in.
