and still tied to only one console. I'm not sure why they would keep that store separate from the PSN.

Not that I even own this game, but they should really fix this for the people who do support the game.

this still sucks because it doesn't save your downloads in your PSN account, it uses the old store format. its stupid, if your console breaks (aka mine) and you get a new one, say goodbye to your downloads and money. Good news only to be crushed by a stupid flaw

@PR0F3TA You know that you can phone the Customer Support and tell them you have a new console and they will transfer the licence for you, right?

@Dark Archon PSN Archonik XBL Dar Yeah...if you're willing to spend hours with their service, and wait up to 3 weeks for results. Just take a look at the official forums to read about the nightmares.

@PR0F3TA that is incredibly stupid. Come on Sony, lets get with the program. Look at Harmonix..well I guess thats really the XBL marketplace that makes that work so well. But I'm pretty certain it works almost the same for PS3 RB users...right?

@Dark Archon PSN Archonik XBL Dar

Only once. I have two PS3s and over $300 of music. The people were nice to deal with, but it did take well over a solid hour on the phone trying to explain to them that I am going to now use my Phat for Singstar and Blu-rays.

Transferring content that I own should be cake.

@PR0F3TA

As I understand, if you call the support line, they will do a courtesy transfer.

I bought songs on my old phat ps3 but after the disc drive died and replaced it with a slim I couldn't re-download them. So maybe if they take the console copyright off I'll buy some songs again, hate to download and ps3 disc drive die again.(knock-knock)

@Wazzup4567 It doesn't work like that. You can't remove a PS3 HDD and put it in a different console, it's encrypted and can only be read by the original system. No way around it.

To all those who have or are going to complain about one-console downloads: should you ever have a problem with your console, you can call Sony customer services and they will immediately reset your songs, which will redownload next time you boot the game.

Sheez, FINALLY!

And actually you CAN re-download tracks from the Singstore, but it is, indeed, a major pain. When I got my PS3 repaired I had to basically write Sony begging them to let me get my (sizeable) library back onto my repaired console.

Again, it's a pain, but it's possible.

Can't you just call Sony support and tell them to release the licensing on your (old) console and redownload it to the new one?

I wish Lips would follow suit, especially here in Europe. Being forced to sing unfarmiliar songs once in a while has it's charm, but some Britney would be nice.

Just picked up SingStar for a party, so I'm glad that they're releasing the rest. Still sort of disapointed by how few memorable or knowable tracks they have... Like... No Taylor Swift... No Paul Simon or Simon and Garfunkel...

I had no problem getting my songs restored onto my new system. Just a quick call to customer service, and a wait of a few days, and voila! The downloads are pretty slow, but it was nice to get the songs back.

There are quite a few songs that I wanted from Europe that I couldn't fathom why I couldn't get them here in the States. I may go back and check them out, now, instead of just singing in Rock Band 3.

Oh wait, looking at the list it doesn't have the ones I want that are already out, like Erasure, Depeche Mode, and the Cure. I wonder if they'll add them all eventually?

@garnsr you can get a UK PSN card from cardscodes.com. then create a UK PSN account and download the songs you want and theey will show up on all your profiles.

I've used them and the email the scanned card in less than 24 hrs.

Will any of these songs have the guitar upgrade? So far there's only like 6 songs for which you can play guitar, they really need to have more of those! I'd buy 'em!

I think this is great. But where is the "vibrato" update that Singstar was supposed to get back in June?

Finally! I'll start playing this game again. I remember when I first bought it, thinking that all the songs listed in Wiki were available-- then discovering that so many songs I planned to get were only available in Europe. Now years later I can get those songs. Better late than never.

I'm not gonna say too little, but it's definitely too late. I gave up on this game 2 years ago and haven't looked back.
